Nice people, friendly shop, competitive prices, great personal service! They process film and are a hub for the photo community! They also have a good selection of used gear, also with competitive prices. Here's an image I took that Dot Dotson's processed from film I bought there.
Dot Dotson’s is excellent! Quick and well-done film processing and great customer service. I brought in my favorite film camera that had a busted mirror and they said it’d be $35 to get it looked at plus the price of parts... but they had a brand-new in the box version of said camera for $35 as well.
Editing to add: Went back and picked up a camera. They were so helpful throughout everything! Went in looking for some beginner film camera recommendations with a set budget, everyone was very welcoming and helpful; letting me hold and try cameras, taking time to think on them and come back.
Very helpful and friendly! I’m brand new to film photography and they were happy to help educate me on cameras and films and you can tell they genuinely love what they do and are to happy to help answer any questions. They got my film developed and scanned in a few days and the pictures turned out great!
