Essential Photo is a must visit place for any film shooter. The knowledge, kindness and professionalism from the staff and owner is unbeatable. The first time I visited, the owner gave me a tour of the building after mentioning this was my first time there.
Simply a great place to hang. No matter what they will take care of you. They sell new, used, film, digital and whatever else you could want photo related. They took care of me and went above and beyond to bring in hard to get Sony Gear like the A1 I purchased from them. Game changers!
This is such a cool store. I love shooting/processing photos on film. It feels fortunate, in 2025, to have a local shop where you can still buy film, and all the chemicals, and darkroom supplies. And the staff is always super friendly, and helpful with any questions you may have about any of it.
Essential Photo Supply is a true haven for film photographers. The staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every visit feels like catching up with friends who happen to be experts in their craft.
