I had a camera rewind my film early, then stop working when I messed with the battery. Staff member at the desk helped me get it running again (I just had the battery in incorrectly!) and also did a quick clean of the inside for me, to try to combat that issue in the future.
Dropped by on my way through town. I needed a red filter and they didn't have one in the size I wanted. They have a good selection of film, albeit small. If I lived here, I'd probably frequent this shop for film and gear. Surprisingly, they had boxes of portra 400 which is hard to find right now.
Called the Monterey location to ask about availability of color film before walking in. Had a pleasant and informative customer service experience on the phone, and received a welcoming greeting as I walked in. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly to newbies like me.
Incredible staff, very helpful. I'm new-ish to both film and digital photography, and my few experiences visiting this story have all provided me with more education on photography. It's clear the staff love photography and enjoy their work.
