Found several carousels of 35mm slides in dad's attic, mostly old IMSA and Formula 1 racing pics from the 1970s. Took the best of them down to RVA Rewind to be converted into digital images for online sharing. Very impressed with the whole process - these folks are awesome, very friendly and great at what they do.
We have used RVA Rewind on three occasions. Each time they were the best! Easy to navigate through the process, price was great and they were timely during the interactions. But the best part is… one of the VHS tapes had a whole section with my grandparents, who passed early 2000s.
I found several old 8mm film reels from the 1960's among my mother's things and brought them to RVA Rewind. WHAT A GIFT! The quality of the digitization was incredible and they captured sound with some of these videos that I had never heard before. Wonderful service and a priceless and incredible output.
The experience with RVA Rewind was excellent start to finish - They responded to my inquiry quickly, they allowed me to drop the VHS off on a day when I was in Richmond but they weren't open, the conversion process was quick, the quality was great, and the price was extremely fair.
